Powerful, an event by the Women’s Fund

(Previously known as Power of the Purse)

On September 19, 2024, we look forward to gathering at the Resch Expo in Green Bay, WI for our 19th annual luncheon. We are excited to announce that this year’s keynote speaker is Larissa May, a digital wellbeing pioneer and founder of #HalfTheStory (HTS), the first non-profit dedicated to empowering the next generation’s relationship with social media.

About Powerful

We are delighted to share that for 2024 and beyond, the annual Power of the Purse luncheon will have a new name and logo. The new name is Powerful, an event by the Women’s Fund, which captures how this signature event has evolved over the years. The event will have the same elements the community has come to know and love (like the purse auction!), while allowing us to focus on the many ways the Women’s Fund has advanced and become “powerful”. The Women’s Fund has:

  • The “power” to collaborate with donors, sponsors, and community leaders to invest in programs that support women.
  • The “power” to provide grants to nonprofits working to improve the lives of local women and girls.
  • The “power” to imagine a tomorrow that is different from today by supporting pathways to success to allow every woman in our community to thrive.

Together, in partnership with the community, we are powerful. Mark your calendars to join us on September 19, 2024!
